WNBA Injury Report and Predicted Starting Lineup for Phoenix Mercury vs Chicago Sky: Who Misses Mercury-Sky Encounter on Thursday?

Gulshan Sharma

The Phoenix Mercury will have a healthy roster for Thursday's home matchup.

Phoenix Mercury will kick off their crucial home leg in the WNBA regular season with a first clash against 12th-seeded Chicago Sky. The 2025 WNBA playoff race heats up and the Mercury is looking to earn the qualification as soon as possible. Phoenix take the 3-0 lead over Chicago in the regular season series.

With a 23-14 record in the season, the Mercury are in comfortable position to reach the playoffs. In previous game, Phoenix outclassed the LA Sparks 92-84 on Alyssa Thomas’s record-breaking triple-double. A couple of wins in the remaining seven games will confirm their spot in the playoffs.

On the other hand, the Sky have been eliminated after losing eight out of last ten matches. Chicago enters the fixture with a 79-74 defeat against the Aces, who clinched the playoff qualification on Monday. Chicago had a worst campaign this year with a 9-28 record. Angel Reese and Co. looked dull in the frontcourt defense and offensive strength.

Let’s see how the injury reports for the Sky and Mercury look like ahead of their clash on Thursday.
