On Tuesday, September 16, the Indiana Fever will welcome the Atlanta Dream in Game 2 of their best-of-three first-round series in the 2025 WNBA playoffs.
The Dream pulled off an 80-68 blowout win over the Fever in their series opener on Sunday, September 14 to take an early 1-0 lead. Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray dropped 20 points each while Naz Hillmon contributed 16 points, nine rebounds, and three assists for the winners.
Atlanta held Indiana to 22/63 shooting from the field, 2/15 from deep, and 22/29 from the free throw line. The injury-riddled Fever clearly missed the presence of their notable players including Caitlin Clark, who was sidelined for the remainder of the season due to groin injury and a bone bruise.
As action moves to Indiana, Stephanie White’s team would want to take full advantage of home conditions and level the series and force a decider.
Kelsey Mitchell-Points:
Mitchell is averaging 20.2 points per game this season. In Sunday’s game, she dropped a game-leading 27 points. She was limited to single-digit scores only twice the entire season. In fact, in the last ten games, Mitchell crossed the 20-point mark on six occasions. I see her following the trend on Tuesday too.
Mitchell O 19.5 Points
Here is an overview of my selections:

| Kelsey Mitchell O 19.5 Points | -114 |

Aliyah Boston: Points
Aliyah Boston has averaged 15.0 points this regular season. In the postseason opener, she dropped eight points. Even in the last five games combined, she couldn’t come close to her seasonal average. She is expected to stay under in the second game.
Boston U 14.5 Points
Naz Hillmon: Rebounds
The Dream forward grabbed 8.6 rebounds on an average this season. In the previous game, she recorded nine rebounds, and has managed to cross the average twice in the last five games. She is expected to cross the mark on Tuesday as well.
Hillmon O 7.5 Rebounds
WNBA SGP: Mitchell O 19.5 Points, Boston U 14.5 Points, Hillmon O 7.5 Rebounds for +466 at FanDuel
The Dream entered the playoffs on a six-game winning streak, and secured seventh straight victory as they took the Fever down. While the Fever have home-court advantage in the next fixture, it would be difficult for them to break the visitors’ momentum.
Apart from Kelsey Mitchell, no other player could manage to put up a decent score. They are not likely to recover in the next game.
Fever vs Dream Spread: Dream -3.5 for -110 at FanDuel
