Arsenal Sign 17-Year-Old Salford Striker Will Wright

Born in Preston, England, Wright is a 17-year-old striker with exceptional abilities. He went through Salford City’s youth and reserve teams, scoring significant amount of goals across these levels in the 2024/25 season.

Wright made his senior debut for Salford City in January 2025 against Manchester City in the FA Cup, playing a few minutes in an 8-0 defeat.

The interest from various Premier League sides speaks for the talents of Wright. With four senior appearances already in his bag, Wright will be expected to rise in Mertesacker’s squad in no time.
