Will Stephen Curry play tonight against Kings? Latest injury update on Warriors’ superstar

It will be first game for Stephen Curry since the All-Star MVP honor.

Golden State Warriors will take on the Sacramento Kings in the first NBA matchup since the All-Star break. It will also be the final matchup of their seven-game road trip. Stephen Curry and Co. have improved since acquiring Jimmy Butler from Miami in a multi-team deal.

Golden State enter the road fixture with a 105-98 win against the Houston Rockets. Steve Kerr’s side are 3-3 in their current road trip. The Warriors are tenth in the West and they need to run faster in pursuit of the playoffs.

On the flip note, Sacramento Kings’ fortune has been changed since the appointment of the new coach. However, they suffered a 140-133 defeat to one of the league worsts, Pelicans in previous game. Sacramento are 5-5 in their last ten games and 14-13 in home games. Both teams exited the All-Star break with 28-27 in the West.

Stephen Curry is likely to play against the Sacramento Kings as the 2025 All-Star MVP is off the injury report. The veteran star is averaging 23.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 6.1 assists per game in the regular season. Curry scored 27 points in the previous NBA matchup against the Rockets.

Apart from Curry, Golden State Warriors have listed only one player on the injury report. Jonathan Kuminga returned the practice this week after sustaining a sprain on his right ankle against the Grizzlies on Jan. 4. The 22-year-old is listed out on the injury report.

Jonathan Kuminga remains out for the Warriors tomorrow night in Sacramento. Every other rotation player available for both Kings and Warriors as they exit the All-Star break with identical 28-27 records.

Sacramento Kings, on the other hand, have no players listed on the injury report as of yet for tonight’s game.
