Goldberg set to enter the WWE ring, one last time!
Bill Goldberg, a legend who once held a 173-0 record in WWE, was at Bad Blood with his family when an altercation between Gunther and him unfolded. Gunther was in the ring with Triple H when he mocked Goldberg by calling him “One Trick Pony”. He also added that he lied to Bret Hart when he called him his childhood icon.
Although he admitted that he was trying to give Goldberg a hard time, things escalated quickly when he addressed Gage (Goldberg’s son) and said “I really hope for you that Bill is a better father than he is a professional wrestler.”
An agitated Goldberg jumped the barricades to get his hands on Gunther, who kept provoking him from the ring. The security stopped Goldberg outside the ring but Sami Zayn came from behind and attacked Gunther. The security later separated the two superstars.
Goldberg has announced that he will retire from WWE in 2025. Given the shocking turn of events at Bad Blood, we might know who his final victim will be. It is just a matter of time before the WWE announces a match between Goldberg and Gunther.
Gunther is scheduled to face Terror Twin’s Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at the 2024 Survivor Series: WarGames. Goldberg might return to get his hands on Gunther and it is guaranteed that the crowd will go berserk at just a glimpse of this.

Whether Gunther loses the Heavyweight championship to Damian Priest or is able to retain it, we are expecting to see Goldberg delivering a spear (and a jackhammer) to the Ring General. The 2024 Survivor Series would be the best occasion to brew a new storyline to announce the retirement match for Bill Goldberg.
It would be interesting to see if the knife-edge chops are any match to Goldberg’s intensity and raw power!
