However, unlike their first meeting, Dmitry Bivol found his second wind in the championship rounds. He controlled rounds seven through nine with superior boxing skills. The judges scored it 114-114, 116-112, and 115-113 in favor of Bivol, who showed remarkable improvement from their first bout.
