Ferrari made the impossible come true in 2024 when signed up a legendary driver for the 2025 season.

Ferrari are going to enter the 2025 season on a positive note. The Prancing Horse had a successful season in 2024. They were able to secure victories in two of the most important races of the season. Ferrari spent the 2024 season chasing the McLarens for the Constructors championship. This was a much needed upgrade for the Italian outfit which had a disastrous turnover in 2022. Ferrari was arguably the best team of 2022 when the season started with new regulations. They were unfortunately unable to continue the pace throughout the season and ended up losing both championships to Red Bull.

Scuderia Ferrari has brought about some radical changes for the 2025 Formula 1 season. They were able to secure one of the best drivers of the grid. Ferrari will be expecting to secure more wins in the 2025 season with a star-studded lineup. They will be trying to get the best out of the season before the 2026 regulation changes come forth to restart their designs.

Ferrari Driver Lineup for 2025

Charles Leclerc (#16) and Lewis Hamilton (#44) are going to start the 2025 season for Scuderia Ferrari. Although Charles Leclerc is considered the golden boy, Hamilton has completely taken over the spotlight for 2025. The seven-time world champion took the entire grid by storm when he confirmed his contract with Ferrari for the upcoming seasons early on in 2024. The driver has previously mentioned that racing in the red outfit has always been something special to him.

The 2025 season might bring forth radical changes in the Ferrari paddock. Hamilton and Leclerc were treated as number 1 drivers in their teams until the 2024 season. Ferrari will have to make tough decisions in order to set their priorities straight for the season. Lewis Hamilton is undoubtedly the best driver and one of the legends of the sport.

But, Charles Leclerc has proved in the recent seasons that he is no slouch either. Leclerc was able to rectify his mistakes and produce much better results in 2024 compared to his previous season in Formula 1.

One of the other changes that Ferrari have made to their driver lineup, comes from Team Sauber. Yes, Zhou Guanyu who was unable to continue with Sauber in 2025 will join the team as a reserve driver for the 2025 Formula 1 season.
