LeBron became the NBA’s oldest active player following the retirements of Udonis Haslem and Andre Iguodala after the 2022–23 season. The four-time MVP has averaged 25 points, 8.5 assists and 8.2 rebounds this season.
LeBron James is also the oldest player ever to play for Team USA and he achieved this milestone during the Paris Olympics 2024.
Nat Hickey remains the oldest active NBA player in league history. He was 45 years and 363 days old when he logged a game for the Providence Steamrollers in the 1947-48 season. The former undrafted swingman, who was coaching the Steamrollers at the time, decided to play in a game for the franchise and retired just before the 46th birthday.
