Now, Flash forward to her Notre Dame career, Sonia Citron became one of the only two freshman athletes to average at least 11 points. Moreover, she also averaged six rebounds and two assists, thus announcing her presence at the big stage. Her stats improved further in her second year in college basketball. She averaged 14.7 points and 5.5 rebounds, earning tags like Notre Dame Defensive Player of the Year and First team ACC honors.
