Giants rookie Cam Skattebo is off to a running start in New York!
Arizona State running back Cam Skattebo was drafted in the 2025 NFL draft in the fourth round with pick number 105 by the New York Giants. He played college football from 2021 to 2024, starting his career with the Sacramento Hornets. Skattebo then transferred to the Arizona State Sun Devils in 2023.
Beginning his NFL career with the Giants, Skattebo was initially expected to be the backup running back behind Tyrone Tracy Jr. However, he quickly earned the role of the Giants’ starter and is already making big plays for his team, especially with fellow rookie Jaxson Dart under center.
So far in his first 6 games with the Giants, Skattebo has become a useful weapon on the team’s offense, especially now that Malik Nabers is out for the season with an ACL tear. Skattebo has 338 rushing yards along with 5 touchdowns in his first 6 games.
