As we are approaching Super Bowl LIX, there have been multiple teams that have won at least one Super Bowl. Then there are some who have never won a Super Bowl or even come close. There have been some dominant teams, in the past, who have won multiple Super Bowls. The New England Patriot and the Pittsburgh Steeler have won 6 each. The San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys have 5. The Green Bay Packers have 4.

The Patriots had Tom Brady and Bill Belichick who turned the Patriots into a dynasty. The Steelers and Terry Bradshaw won two in a row. The Cowboys were extremely relevant during the 90’s and won three titles. Even the Chicago Bears have won their one and only tile in ’86. However, there are 12 teams that have never won a single Super Bowl trophy.

Whether it’s the talent, the coaching staff, injuries, some team have just remained unlucky. The best example of being unlucky is the Buffalo Bills who have been to four Super Bowls consecutively and lost all of them. The lost two times to the Cowboys, once to the Giants, and once to the Redskins. In fact, the Bills and the Minnesota Vikings are tied for most appearances in the Super Bowl without a victory.

Despite not winning it all, they at least reached the Super Bowl multiple times as some of the teams, have not even had an appearance in the Super Bowl yet. Today, we look at the 12 NFL teams who have never won a Super Bowl.

Tennessee Titans	1	2000 lost to the St. Louis Rams.
Los Angeles Chargers	1	1995 lost to the 49ers.

These 12 teams have never won a Super Bowl. Some teams have repeatedly knocked on the door but were just not successful. However, the Browns, Lions, Jaguars, and Texans, have not even been to a single Super Bowl yet. Winning in the NFL is extremely hard and even though it looked like the Lions would make an appearance this season, they were knocked off in the divisional round.

Some of the teams like the Vikings, Bills, Lions, and Texans are headed in the right direction and may win a Super Bowl someday. However, teams like the Browns, Jaguars, Panthers, Bengals, Cardinals, and Falcons still have a long way to go before they can contend for a title again.
