Formula 1 started the 2025 season with two blockbuster races. The Australian Grand Prix was the first race of the season, succeeded by the Chinese Grand Prix. The Chinese Grand Prix marked the first sprint weekend of Formula 1. It also allowed Lewis Hamilton to earn his first victory for Ferrari in the sprint race. The 2025 F1 season has started on an incredibly strong note for McLaren. Their cars are miles ahead of the competition. A talented driver lineup ensures that McLaren are grabbing the most points in these initial races of F1 2025 season. Lando Norris won the season opener and Oscar Piastri won the next race for McLaren.

Formula 1 has decided to take a breather after two continuous races. The next Formula 1 race will take place after a break of 14 days from March 23. The third F1 race will take us all the way to Japan. The land of the rising sun shall host the first Formula 1 race in April. Japan returned to F1 recently. Japanese Grand Prix 2025

The Japanese Grand Prix is going to be the third and upcoming F1 race in the 2025 season. As per the official schedule, the race will take place from 4-6 April, 2024. The Japanese Grand Prix is going to take place at the Suzuka International Racing Course in Suzuka, Japan. The Japanese Grand Prix will start from 2:00 PM track time as scheduled by Formula 1. Japanese GP is 53 lap event which has been a part of F1 since 1987. The Japanese GP was dropped from the Formula 1 calendar for the 2020-21 seasons. Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix will cover a total distance of 307.471 around the Suzuka International Circuit. Max Verstappen is the defending race winner of Japanese GP.

The Suzuka International Racing Course is among the highly popular circuits in Formula 1. It is the favorite track of F1 champion and former driver, Sebastian Vettel. The race track features 18 turns and 1 DRS zone and it is 5.807 kms long. However, do not be fooled by the lack of DRS zones. The track is famous for its high speed corners and snaking curves. Any Formula 1 fan recognises the 130R and Degners corners of Suzuka. The 130R is a high-speed corner markes as Turn 15 on the track layout. The record for most wins at Suzuka is held by Michael Schumacher who won the Japanese Grand Prix six times throughout his career. Lewis Hamilton is the fastest man around the circuit. He set a lap time of 1:30.983 in 2019.
