UFC London was originally meant to feature Jack Della Maddalena against former champion. But as often happens in this sport, plans changed in a hurry. Della Maddalena got the call to face welterweight champ Belal Muhammad at UFC 315 in May, leaving Edwards in need of a new dance partner. Sean Brady, the grappling specialist with a 17-1 record was ready to crash the party and potentially earn himself a title shot.
