The Formula 1 season shall commence its 2025 schedule in March. The 24-race championship, hailed as the “pinnacle of motorsports”, will feature some veterans and many new faces in 2025. The Formula 1 2025 season is going to lay the foundation for the new regulations in 2026. The teams have already decided their driver line-ups (and hopefully names) for the upcoming season. The 2025 season will be the 76^th run of the prestigious championship.

Formula 1 has already dropped some bombs for the upcoming season. The latest announcement features Cadillac as the 11^th team for the 2026 grid. They will be the second American team on the grid with Haas. Their regulation changes about the behaviour of drivers have been in the spotlight for many days before the start of the season. The 2025 Formula 1 season is going to start on March 14^th officially. The FORMULA 1 LOUIS VUITTON AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2025 is going to be the first race of the 2025 season. The race will be held on March 16^th, 2025 from 15:00 track time. The race is going to be held at Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit. Max Verstappen is the defending winner of the race.

Formula 1 recently finished testing for the 2025 season. It was held from 26^th to 28^th February, 2025 at Sakhir. The lap times during the results aren’t indicative of the actual performance of the cars. The teams are known for “sandbagging” their cars. It is a term famous in the Formula 1 fanbase for the act of purposely keeping the cars slow in order to hide real data of the teams.

Formula 1 has also introduced rule changes for the 2025 season. This includes the crucial rule of giving bonus points to drivers for the fastest lap. Formula 1 has decided to omit this rule for 2025 and drivers will no longer receive bonuses for claiming the fastest lap. The driver changes, rookie additions and the results of past year’s championship may lead to a butterfly effect during the 2025 season. Formula 1 has also decided to give more time during practice sessions to reserve drivers in order to foster future drivers.

Additionally, fans should also be on the lookout for the newest Formula 1 film starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris. The film is set to release in 2025 with a fictional team APX GP claiming the lead.
