Get to know the details of the timings of the preliminary and main card as well the where to watch UFC Vegas 108 event!

Fight nights at the UFC Apex have become a reliable source of entertainment for MMA fans worldwide. These smaller venue events often deliver unexpected fireworks and showcase rising talent before they hit the big stage. Las Vegas has hosted countless memorable moments over the years, from shocking upsets to breakout performances that launched careers.

Tonight brings another packed card to the Nevada desert, though not quite as originally planned. UFC Vegas 108 faced a major shakeup when Amir Albazi pulled out of his highly anticipated main event against Tatsuro Taira just days before the fight. The UFC scrambled to find a replacement, ultimately landing on an intriguing solution that might actually improve the card. Sometimes the best fights come from unexpected circumstances, and this event could prove that point perfectly!

UFC Vegas 108 Preview

The new main event features Tatsuro Taira taking on Hyun Sung Park in what promises to be a fascinating flyweight clash. Taira entered this fight ranked sixth in the division and looking to continue his climb toward title contention. The Japanese fighter has built an impressive resume with his well rounded skill set and finishing ability. His original opponent Albazi would have provided a clear path up the rankings, but Park presents different challenges that could be even more entertaining.

Park steps in on short notice after winning Road to UFC Season 2 and making an immediate impact in the promotion. The Korean fighter brings an undefeated record and has finished all three of his UFC opponents so far: two by submission and one by TKO. His willingness to take this fight on such short notice shows the confidence and hunger that makes prospects dangerous. Park was scheduled to face Steve Erceg next week, but this opportunity to jump straight into a main event against a ranked opponent was too good to pass up.

The supporting cast delivers plenty of intrigue as well. Mateusz Rębecki faces Chris Duncan in a lightweight battle. Neil Magny returns to welterweight action against Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos in a veteran showdown. The women’s divisions get representation through Karol Rosa versus Nora Cornolle at bantamweight and Piera Rodriguez taking on Ketlen Souza at strawweight. These matchups blend experienced fighters with hungry newcomers. This creates the perfect recipe for exciting combat!
