Hosted at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis since 1987, the combine has multiple events to test the player’s physical attributes and their skillsets. This helps the coaches determine which player fits the best according to their team’s needs.

Day 3 of the NFL Combine is going to be stacked with talent as we’ll see some of the best wide receivers, quarterbacks, and running backs, compete in the Combine. So far, in Day 1 and Day 2 of the 2025 Combine, we saw a lot of players who definitely raised their stock and some who may have dropped further down in terms of their draft stock.

Players such as the Shemar Stewart in Day 1, and Nick Emmanwori in day 2, absolutely showed out and their performance only helped them raised their draft stock. Whereas we also have some players who will not or did not participate in the Combine as some players are injured and others have already cemented themselves as some of the top players in the draft.

Nevertheless, day three will be an action packed day with players from three different positions trying to compete and improve their chances of going higher overall in the draft.

Day 3 of NFL Combine will start at 1:00 p.m. and end by 9:00 p.m. E.T, on Saturday, March 1st, 2025. We will see quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers participating in Day 3 of the Combine.

The Combine experience gates will open by 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. The inside looks gates open by 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and the drills will start from 1 p.m.

Day 3 of the Combine will be telecasted Live on NFL Network. You can also stream the NFL Combine on NFL+ app or DAZN.

Similar to the drills from day 1 and 2, day 3 will also involve pretty much the same drills that were there prior. Here’s a list of all the drills that active participants will have to perform;

3-cone drill
20-yard shuttle
40-yard dash
60-yard shuttle
225-pound bench press
Broad jump
Cybex Test
Drills based on each position
Drug screening
Injury evaluations
Team Interviews
Vertical Jump

The Bench Press workout will always be done on the following day so we’ll see defensive backs and tight ends pressing tomorrow. We’ll only get to see the RBs, QBs, and WRs, bench press on March 2nd, 2025.

Some players to watch on Day 3 of the NFL Combine

There are some players, unfortunately, who will not participate in the Combine. Players such as QB Cam Ward, QB Shedeur Sanders, are not doing the combine as they have already positioned themselves as some of the best prospects. However, there are others who will participate and here’s some of them;

Jaxson Dart- Quarterback
Quinn Ewers- Quarterback
Tetairoa McMillan- Wide Receiver
Isaiah Bond- Wide Receiver (Has guaranteed to break Xavier Worthy’s 40-yard dash record!)
Ashton Jeanty- Running Back
Omarion Hampton- Running Back

These are just some of the players in the stacked 2025 draft class. We’re particularly excited about Isaiah Bond and if he can actually keep his promise and break Worthy’s 40-yard dash record which is 4.21 seconds.
