It's time for the quarterbacks to shine at the 2025 NFL Combine!
Day 3 of the NFL Scouting Combine with on-field drills is likely to be the busiest one yet with three positional players taking the field today. Along with the running backs and the wideouts, we will also get to see the quarterbacks in action.
The NFL Combine has already given us some astonishing moments and quite a few players must be expecting to see their draft stock rise after some great performances. However, today it is the day for signal callers to please teams in their quest to begin their professional careers.

This year’s quarterback class is considered to be one of the weaker classes in the recent past. Last year was a surprisingly good draft for signal callers as no less than 11 quarterbacks drafted overall, and six of them came in the first round.
There were high expectations from picks 1 and 2, which were Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels, but that doesn’t seem to be the case this year. Nevertheless, let us see who the top prospects are at the 2025 NFL Combine.
This year, the NFL Combine committee decided to invite 15 quarterbacks, from which Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders are in pole position to be drafted early on in the draft. After them, it looks like the field is wide open for the number three spot, though Jaxson Dart could be the player with the best chance to grab that spot. The following is a list of all quarterbacks expected to participate in drills at the Combine today:
| Quarterback | College |
| Max Brosmer | Minnesota Golden Gophers |
| Brady Cook | Missouri Tigers |
| Jaxson Dart | Mississippi Rebels (Ole Miss) |
| Quinn Ewers | Texas Longhorns |
| Dillon Gabriel | Oregon Ducks |
| Seth Henigan | Memphis Tigers |
| Will Howard | Ohio State Buckeyes |
| Riley Leonard | Notre Dame Fighting Irish |
| Kyle McCord | Syracuse Orange |
| Graham Mertz | Florida Gators |
| Jalen Milroe | Alabama Crimson Tide |
| Kurtis Rourke | Indiana Hoosiers |
| Tyler Shough | Louisville Cardinals |
Quarterbacks who will not participate in the Combine drills are:
| Quarterback | College |
| Cam Ward | Miami Hurricanes |
| Shedeur Sanders | Colorado Buffaloes |
Barring any late injury, it seems that the only two quarterbacks who will not participate in the on-field drill will be the projected top two signal callers of this draft class. As per the general consensus, Miami Hurricanes’ Cam Ward and Colorado Buffaloes’ Shedeur Sanders are expected to be the top two QBs to be drafted this year and neither of them will be participating today.

nfl I am a content writer for the NFL team, and joined The Playoffs after working with Sportskeeda and NFL Analysis as an NFL writer. After starting my professional career as a French-to-English translator, working as a content writer is a new adventure for me. I started out in the sports media field for two main reasons: my love for sports in general, especially the NFL, NBA, and Tennis, as well as my passion for writing. The best part of this job is that I get to write a variety of pieces with the freedom to explore content from various angles. It also enables me to stay up to date with the sporting world, which otherwise can be difficult to do in the day-to-day grind. In a world full of chaos, sports unite and entertain like nothing else!
