The Lions vs. Vikings game tonight is going to be absolute cinema! The NFC North is up for grabs and so is the #1 seed in the NFC. The Sam Darnold vs. Jared Goff match-up in week 7 this season when the Lions visited the Vikings in the U.S. Bank Stadium produced a last minute thriller. The game ended with 0:15 remaining on the clock when Jake Bates scored a 44-yard field goal to take the Lions home 31-29.

We can totally expect tonight’s game to be no less! Jared Goff has thrown 4,398 yards for 36 passing touchdowns and 10 interceptions this season. Sam Darnold’s resurgence with the Vikings has been equally impressive. Darnold has 4,153 yards for 35 passing touchdowns and has been picked 12 times with a completion percentage of 68.1% as compared to Goff’s 71.7%.

The Lions will be without RB David Montgomery but help seems to be arriving in the form of WR Kalif Raymond and LB Alex Anzalone who were injured from the injury reserve for this game. The Vikings have listed out Patrick Jones II for the Lions game tonight but TE Josh Oliver and RB Aaron Jones are expected to be available!
