A week 4 doubleheader on MNF tonight as the Jets visit the Dolphins and Bengals meet the Broncos in Denver!

Week 4 of the NFL season is coming to an end with 14 of this week’s 16 games already in the bag. That brings us to tonight, where we have another doubleheader on Monday Night Football (MNF).

Who’s playing on Monday Night Football?

Monday Night Football in week 4 has two games taking place, with the first one being an NFC East showdown between the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets, whereas the second game will see the Denver Broncos taking on the Cincinnati Bengals.

In the first game, both the Dolphins and Jets are languishing at the bottom of their division with a 0-3 record. Miami’s last game against their divisional heavyweights, the Buffalo Bills, was a close one until late in the fourth quarter, with the Bills kicking a field goal to go ahead by 10.

The Jets were also involved in a very tight game last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who eventually won on a walk-off field goal. The Jets, at one point, were down 23-6 in the fourth quarter before mounting a comeback in the final quarter.

In game 2, the Broncos played the Los Angeles Chargers in week 3 and lost another close one, going down 23-20 to fall to 1-2 on the season. The Bengals are currently 2-1, but the loss of Joe Burrow is a huge one. Backup quarterback Jake Browning had a game to forget last time, throwing 2 picks in a crushing 48-10 loss against the Minnesota Vikings.

Dolphins vs Jets Head-to-Head Record Ahead of MNF

The Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets have been longtime divisional rivals ever since the AFL days in 1966. Having met 119 times in all, the Dolphins lead this rivalry by a small margin, 60-57-1 in the regular season. Both teams have met only once in the postseason, with Miami winning that game as well.

In 2024, the two teams split their two games, with the Dolphins winning the first one 32-26, whereas the Jets won the second time around 32-20.

Broncos vs Bengals Head-to-Head Record Ahead of MNF

The Denver Broncos and the Cincinnati Bengals have met a total of 34 times, with the Broncos holding a 22-12 lead in the overall head-to-head. However, Cincinnati has won the last three of four meetings between the two teams. The Bengals won 30-24 the last time the two teams met on December 29, 2024.

What Time Does Week 4 Monday Night Football Start Tonight?

Being a doubleheader, the first game between the Dolphins and the Jets will start at 7:15 p.m. ET from Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida. The second game between the Broncos and the Dolphins will start at 8:15 p.m. ET from Mile High, Denver, Colorado.

The Monday Night Football (MNF) rights belong to ESPN as well as its sister company, ABC. The Dolphins vs Jets game will be telecast on ESPN with streaming available on Fubo and NFL+ for out-of-market games.

The Broncos vs Bengals game can be viewed on ABC with streaming options on Fubo and NFL+ as well.

Game 1: Dolphins vs Jets

In the first game, the Dolphins are slight favorites to win at home against the Jets. Neither team is playing particularly well, and both defenses have struggled up to now. However, Miami’s offensive potential could be the difference between the two teams.

Game 2: Broncos vs Bengals

The Broncos, on the other hand, are 1-2, but they have lost close games against the Colts and Chargers. Denver is a 7.5-point favorite in this game, and it is the same for us.
