NFL Results Last Night – Packers, Cowboys Make History on SNF, Chiefs Dominate Ravens, Jaxson Dart Era Begins As Chargers, Colts, 49ers Lose Undefeated Tags!

After week 4 the Eagles and Bills remain the final two teams to be undefeated!

It was once again an eventful Sunday slate of games. With 13 games being played throughout the day, the action started with the first international NFL game in Dublin, Ireland, where the Pittsburgh Steelers battled it out with the Minnesota Vikings.

The Bills and the Eagles continue their undefeated run, while the Colts and 49ers endured their first loss of the season. With that said, here is a quick roundup of all the games that took place on Sunday.

Steelers Win First NFL Game in Dublin

The NFL’s ever-expanding venues in its international series saw its first game being held at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland. The Irish were treated to a closely contested battle as Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers edged out the Minnesota Vikings 24-21.

Despite a strong comeback from the Vikings, who were down 21-6 at the end of the third quarter, the Steelers held on for the win and now move to 3-1 on the season. Minnesota now falls to 2-2. Carson Wentz had 350 passing yards and 2 touchdowns, but his 2 interceptions were costly.

Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison both had over 100 yards receiving for the Vikings, whereas DK Metcalf had 126 yards and a touchdown, while Kenneth Gainwell rushed for 99 yards for the Steelers.

Giants Shock Chargers in Jaxson Dart’s Debut Start

The Jaxson Dart era in New York has officially begun. The Giants, who came into their week 4 matchup without a win in three games, faced the undefeated Chargers, but came out with a confidence-boosting win.

Taking the lead from the first drive of the game, the Giants never surrendered and closed out a 21-18 win as Dart threw for 111 yards and a touchdown and also ran for another touchdown and 54 yards. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert was picked off twice.

Patrick Mahomes Leads the Chiefs to a Dominating Win Over the Ravens

Mahomes’ Magic for Kansas City was back in week 4 as the Chiefs played their first convincing game of the season with a huge win over AFC rivals, the Baltimore Ravens. Taking the lead in the second quarter, the Chiefs never looked back as they crushed the Ravens 37-20.

Patrick Mahomes had 270 passing yards and 4 touchdowns, and second-year wideout Xavier Worthy had a massive impact on the offense with 83 receiving yards to go along with 38 rushing yards on just 2 carries. Lamar Jackson had 147 passing yards, 48 yards rushing, a passing touchdown, and an interception, even as he left the game late in the third quarter with what is apparently a hamstring injury.

Undefeated Run Comes to an End for the Bucs, Colts, Chargers, and 49ers

We already saw the Chargers lost their first game of the season to the Giants, but three more teams joined them on Sunday. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers tried their best to overcome a 24-6 deficit in the second half, but it was always going to be a tough ask against the defending Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, who ended up winning 31-25.

Indianapolis’ surprise 3-0 start was halted by the Los Angeles Rams, with Puka Nacua catching 13 balls for 170 yards and a touchdown. The Rams went on to win 27-20 with both teams now 3-1 on the season.

Brock Purdy returned for the 49ers after missing the last couple of games. He had 309 passing yards and 2 touchdowns, but also threw 2 picks in a 21-26 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Both teams are now 3-1. The Jaguars continued their solid start to the season on the back of Travis Etienne Jr.’s 124-yard rushing performance with one touchdown.

Bills and Eagles Last Two Undefeated Teams Left

The Eagles, as mentioned earlier, got off to a quick start with dominant play in all three aspects of the game. Determined not to let the heat affect them this time, Philadelphia set the tone early and took a commanding lead into the half. Although the second half made the game competitive, the Eagles held on and remained undefeated at 4-0 through four weeks of football.

The 3-0 Bills faced off against the 0-3 Saints in what was supposed to be a huge mismatch. Despite winning 31-19 in the end, it was a close game early on with Buffalo entering halftime up just 14-10. James Cook continued his stellar season with 117 rushing yards and a touchdown, while Josh Allen had 209 yards in the air along with a touchdown and a pick.

Back and Forth Packers and Cowboys SNF Game Ends in a Tie

Sunday Night Football (SNF) in week 4 pitted the Green Bay Packers against the Dallas Cowboys.

Micah Parsons’ first game against his former team did not disappoint as the back-and-forth game ended with a tie in overtime. It became the 2nd-highest-scoring tie game in NFL history, with the final score being 40-40.

Both quarterbacks threw for over 300 yards and had 3 touchdowns each, while Dak Prescott added one on the ground as well. With CeeDee Lamb out for the game due to injury, George Pickens played the WR1 role to perfection, grabbing 8 catches for 134 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Romeo Doubs caught all 3 of the Packers’ touchdowns.
