Rockets assistant coaches Ime Udoka and Ben Sullivan were also tossed from the game.
Following a big fight between Marshall and Nuric, the NBA witnessed another altercation on Sunday evening as players lost their tempers in the matchup between the Houston Rockets and the Miami Heat. Four players were ejected after an altercation with less than a minute remaining in the final quarter.
The dispute started between the two sides when Amen Thompson (Houston Rockets) threw Tyler Herro (Miami Heat) to the ground during the battle for position ahead of an inbound pass.

When these two players started pushing each other, Thompson grabbed Herro by the jersey and threw him with force to the ground. Miami Heat players joined the fight and it became another fight drama of the season. Coaches of both sides rushed to the court and removed players from both ends. It would have been the biggest fight but the coaching staff controlled it.

Amen Thompson shouted on Herro when the coach restrained him. Rocket assistants dragged him (Herro) away from the fight. Four players have been ejected immediately including two coaches. Tyler Herro and Terry Rozier faced ejection from the Heat while Thompson and Jalen Green faced the same from the Rockets. Rockets assistant coaches Ime Udoka and Ben Sullivan were also tossed from the game.
The last few minutes of the game saw seven ejections including Fred VanVleet, who faced the consequences after bumping an official while pleading his case after being whistled for a five-second violation. His ejection came just before the brawl.

When the game was stopped, Miami had a 99-94 lead and Herro made a remark and said, “Go home, bro. You lost.” His words proved true and Miami had the last laugh with 104-100. Tyler Herro scored a team-high 27 points in the win.
Amen Thompson will face consequences for his actions during the fight on Sunday evening. The NBA may announce a lengthy suspension for the Rockets forward. It could be more than the suspension given to Jusuf Nurkic and Naji Marshall. Marshall was suspended four games while Nurkic was suspended three games for their fight.
Former NBA star Kendrick Perkins stated that Herro came out as the real winner. He also admired Thompson for standing up for himself. He said, “Amen Thompson stood up and yeah he threw the shit outta Herro and people can get their jokes off… but Hero definitely won in this situation.”
