Despite a viral poster slam in the first quarter, Edwards looked slightly down in the first half.

Anthony Edwards produced another signature poster on Thursday’s NBA matchup. The Minnesota Timberwolves hosted the NBA leaders, Oklahoma City Thunder and the 23-year-old skied for a poster slam in his Adidas AE 1 Low.

The Minnesota Timberwolves guard put Chet Holmgren on poster during the first quarter. Edwards took three dribbles after taking the ball on the left wing. He made a basket over the Oklahoma City Thunder center and also had few words for Holmgren.

Anthony Edwards is no stranger to producing such plays in the NBA matchups. The three-time All-Star scored 10 points in the first quarter as Minnesota outscored Oklahoma City 37-24. Meanwhile, the Thunder came back and took the second quarter 32-27.

Despite a viral poster slam in the first quarter, Edwards looked slightly down in the first half as the Minnesota All-Star shot 2-for-10 from the floor and 0-for-6 from 3-point range.

Anthony Edwards scored 24 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in the game. He got valuable support from Naz Reid, who added 27 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists. The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 116-101 to snap a two-game losing streak.

Heading into the final game before the All-Star weekend, Edwards averaged a career-high 27.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 44.2% from the field and 41.8% from the three-point range in 53 games.
