The Warriors will face the Houston Rockets once again on Wednesday in the NBA Cup quarterfinals.

Jonathan Kuminga had the biggest night of his young career as he led the Warriors to snap their 5-match losing streak with a 99-93 win over the Houston Rockets on Sunday. Despite being without two of their stars – Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, the Warriors’ offense stepped up led by youngster Kuminga.

Kuminga, who had been inconsistent this season, erupted with a career-high 33 points, including 14 points in the fourth quarter. He also contributed with 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block.

The 22-year-old also marked a new milestone with his performance, becoming the youngest Warriors forward to record multiple 30-point games since Chris Webber in 1994.

Veteran Andrew Wiggins also stepped up in the absence of Curry and Green, finishing with 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists.

With this win, the Warriors extended their unbeaten streak against the Rockets to an impressive 15 consecutive games.

For the Rockets, Alperen Sengun was the top performer, totaling 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. Young forward Amen Thompson also impressed off the bench, contributing with 14 points and 8 rebounds.
