The Warriors take on the Kings on Thursday, March 13.
The Golden State Warriors are set to host the Sacramento Kings on Thursday, March 13 at Chase Center. The Steve Kerr-side are coming on the back of a solid 130-120 win over the Trail Blazers, and are on a five-match winning streak.
On the other hand, the Kings went down to the Knicks 133-104 in their previous game. They are on a two-game losing streak, and will aim to return to their winning ways.
Notably, the sixth-seeded (West) Warriors have been without star forward Jonathan Kuminga since January 4. Kuminga sustained an ankle injury during the clash against the Memphis Grizzlies, and has been out of action since then. The 22-year-old had been doing well in the final stages of rehabilitation and was expected to feature in one of the recent road games.
However, as per Shams Charania of ESPN, “Kuminga is set to return to action and will suit up against the Kings. As per Shams, Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga – out since Jan. 4 with a sprained ankle – plans to return to the lineup on Thursday against the Sacramento Kings, sources tell ESPN. Kuminga averaged 20.5 points in his last 14 games played, and now reintegrates to a surging team.”
