Victor Wembanyama creates NBA history in intense battle with Giannis Antetokunmpo during Spurs-Bucks game

Fans enjoyed the battle between Victor Wembanyama and Giannis Antetokunmpo.

San Antonio Spurs star, Victor Wembanyama continued his top form and highlighted a 30-point performance in a 144-118 home win against the Milwaukee Bucks. The 7-foot-3 center created an NBA history on Friday night.

Victor Wembanyama joins Kristaps Porziņģis to become the only player in the league history to record 30 points, 10 rebounds, 5 blocks, and 5 three-pointers in multiple games in the regular season.

Victor Wembanyama tallied 30 points, 14 rebounds, six blocks and one assist while shooting 9/20 from the field and 5/11 from the three-point range in 31 minutes of playing time.

Wembanyama outplays Giannis Antetokunmpo in an intense battle

Fans enjoyed the intense battle between Victor Wembanyama and Giannis Antetokunmpo in the Spurs-Bucks game. Wembanyama’s two straight blocks came against the Milwaukee superstar, who retaliated and dropped a monster dunk on the Spurs star. The Frenchman replied with a highlighted reel.

The 7-foot-3 center was sensational here on both ends and outplayed Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokunmpo, who dropped 35 points, 14 rebounds and six assists. San Antonio made 24-of-50 three-pointers and outscored the Bucks by 27 points in the second half.

Wembanyama had a slow start in the first quarter and went 1-for-4 for two points. However, he already had three blocks against Giannis Antetokounmpo. The 21-year-old racked up 10 points in the second period as San Antonio reduced the deficit to one point at halftime.

The second-year center dropped 14 points and helped Spurs to open up a lead in the game. He outclassed Milwaukke’s two-time MVP, Giannis Antetounmpo and the Spurs stretched the lead to 14 points. Wembanyama sat down after scoring four points in the final quarter and Spurs maintained the lead till the end.

Victor Wembanyama now has the most games in NBA history with 5 three-pointers and 5 blocks. He recently earned his maiden NBA All-Star selection and became the youngest center to be named an All-Star since Shaq.
