Get to know the full list of UFC events and fights for the month of March, including the much anticipated UFC 313!

March is shaping up to be an exciting month for UFC fans with five action-packed events on the calendar. The UFC has always known how to keep the momentum going, and after February’s somewhat anticlimactic ending with the Henry Cejudo and Song Yadong fight, they are looking to bounce back strong.

There was a time when the UFC used to have maybe one or two events per month. However, those days are long gone as the promotion continues its aggressive expansion. The first three events of March will take place in Las Vegas, starting with UFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Almabayev.

UFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Almabayev

This event on March 1st featured a flyweight clash between knockout artist Manel Kape and grappling specialist Asu Almabayev in the main event. The co-main event pitted Cody Brundage against Julian Marquez in what should be an entertaining middleweight bout. Other notable fighters on the card included Nasrat Haqparast, Austen Lane, and Andrea Lee.

UFC 313

UFC 313 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated pay-per-view events of early 2025, set to take place on March 8 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The card is headlined by a compelling light heavyweight championship bout between reigning champion Alex Pereira and top contender Magomed Ankalaev.

Pereira, the former middleweight champion who has taken the light heavyweight division by storm, will be looking to further cement his legacy. He will face one of the most technically sound fighters in the division. Ankalaev has been on the cusp of UFC gold for years now, putting together an impressive winning streak that has finally earned him this title opportunity.

The co-main event features a rematch between fan-favorite Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev. Their first encounter in 2023 was a competitive affair that saw Gaethje emerge victorious via decision. This rematch came together after Gaethje’s original opponent, Dan Hooker, was forced to withdraw due to a hand injury. Fiziev now has a chance to avenge his previous loss and potentially position himself for a title shot in the lightweight division.

The rest of the main card is stacked with exciting matchups, including Jalin Turner taking on Ignacio Bahamondes in what promises to be a high-flying lightweight battle. Amanda Lemos faces rising prospect Iasmin Lucindo in a women’s strawweight contest, while King Green returns to action against Mauricio Ruffy.

The preliminary card also features notable names like heavyweight contender Curtis Blaydes taking on Rizvan Kuniev, and welterweight veteran Alex Morono squaring off against Carlos Leal. UFC Vegas 104

Las Vegas will host one more event on March 15 with UFC Vegas 104, featuring a middleweight rematch between Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze. Their first encounter in March 2023 saw Vettori win by unanimous decision, but Dolidze will be looking to even the score.

The card also includes a welterweight clash between Chidi Njokuani and Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos in the co-main event. Other fights on this card include Alexander Henrnandez vs. Kurt Holobaugh and AJ Cunningham vs. You So-young.

UFC London

The UFC then takes its show on the road, heading to London’s O2 Arena on March 22. Former welterweight champion Leon Edwards will make his return to the cage for the first time since losing his title last year.

Edwards was initially scheduled to face Jack Della Maddalena, but plans changed when Maddalena was booked against current champion Belal Muhammad. Now, Edwards will face Sean Brady instead. The co-main event features former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz against rising star Carlos Ulberg in a bout that could have title implications.

UFC Fight Night: Moreno vs. Erceg

The month wraps up with a trip to Mexico City on March 29, where hometown hero and former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno will take on Australia’s Steve Erceg. Mexican fighter Manuel Torres will face Drew Dober in the co-main event.

The card also features a compelling middleweight matchup between Kelvin Gastelum and Joe Pyfer, along with several other exciting bouts. Another fight to look out for is David Martinez taking on Saimon Oliveira.
