And now, the looming threat of a fight with the young and hungry Tom Aspinall is on the horizon. No stranger to big paydays, ‘Bones’ has made it clear he won’t step into the octagon with Tom Aspinall for pocket change.

Aspinall made waves as the interim champ, successfully defending his belt against Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304 while Jones was nursing a pectoral injury. Now, as the days pass, the mega fight between these two absolute beasts has started to become more and more plausible.

During a recent episode of his podcast, the long-time UFC commentator and analyst Rogan shared that Jon Jones might be asking for a ridiculous amount of money ($30 million) to face Tom Aspinall. That’s the kind of money that makes even seasoned fight fans do a double-take!

“I think it’s gonna be Tom Aspinall. I think they are [the UFC] trying to come to some sort of an agreement. The rumor is that he [Jon Jones] wants $30 million dollars, and the UFC is gotta pay it, hopefully.”
