UFC 314 Nikita Krylov vs. Dominick Reyes UFC MMA Odds, Predictions And Picks

Get to know the betting odds, predictions and picks for the light heavyweight bout of UFC 314: Nikita Krylov vs. Dominick Reyes!

The UFC light heavyweight division has been searching for stability since Jon Jones vacated the title. This Saturday at UFC 314 in Miami, two veterans will clash in a fight that could reshape the division’s landscape. Nikita Krylov and Dominick Reyes both enter this bout with something to prove.

Reyes was once considered the uncrowned champion after his controversial loss to Jones. That razor-thin decision had many fans believing Reyes had done enough to dethrone the pound-for-pound king. But fate can be cruel in combat sports. What followed for Reyes was a nightmare stretch of three straight losses, including brutal knockouts at the hands of Jan Blachowicz and Jiri Prochazka.

Meanwhile, Krylov has quietly built himself into a perennial contender without much fanfare. The Ukrainian fighter known as ‘The Miner’ has been digging his way through the UFC ranks since 2013. His unorthodox style has made him a tough puzzle for many opponents to solve. After stumbling against Magomed Ankalaev in 2021 and Paul Craig in 2022 , Krylov has rebounded with three straight wins.

Nikita Krylov vs. Dominick Reyes UFC MMA Odds

The fight tonight odds are here and they are siding with consistency over redemption. According to BetMGM, oddsmakers have Nikita Krylov as a –170 ( $10 pays out $ 15.58) favorite with Dominick Reyes coming back as a +140 ($10 pays out $24) underdog.

These odds reflect the contrasting trajectories of both fighters. Krylov bringsa three-fight win streak into the octagon, while Reyes is still rebuilding his reputation after that devastating four-fight skid. The betting public seems to trust Krylov’s recent body of work more than Reyes’ comeback wins over Dustin Jacoby and Anthony Smith.

Nikita Krylov vs. Dominick Reyes Predictions and Picks

This matchup presents a fascinating clash of strengths and weaknesses. Reyes brings superior athletic ability and sharp counter striking to the table. His left hand remains one of the division’s most dangerous weapons, as evidenced by his recent finishes. However, legitimate questions about his durability remain after those brutal knockout losses, and his grappling has never been truly tested at the highest level.

Krylov offers a completely different puzzle. The Ukrainian mixes awkward striking with relentless pressure and underrated submission skills. While not the most technically sound fighter, his unpredictability and pace make him dangerous in all areas. His greatest weakness has traditionally been against elite grapplers, with six of his seven UFC losses coming against superior submission artists. Fortunately for him, Reyes doesn’t present that specific threat.

If we bet on the fight, it will be Nikita Krylov to win via unanimous decision.
