Tom Brady is considered by most as the greatest NFL quarterback of all time. He started his NFL career in 2000 and was drafted by the New England Patriots as the 199th pick in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL draft. Brady won 7 Super Bowls in his 22 year career which is the most by any player in NFL history. He holds numerous records in the NFL such as; most passing yards by any quarterback (89,214), most Super Bowl MVP awards (5), most passing touchdown (649) and many more. Brady is also a three-time MVP winner and was selected in the Hall of Fame All-2000s and All-2010s team.

Brady had the most dominant career out of any other quarterbacks in history, even till the very end. Even in year 21, Brady broke his own personal record for passing yards with 5316. Had Brady wanted to, he could have still played in the NFL today. After all, it has only been 2 years since his retirement. Even to this day, many fans still believe that he’ll come out of retirement yet again to play some games.

When did Tom Brady retire from the NFL?

Tom Brady initially announced his retirement after playing 3 seasons for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on February 1st, 2022. However, maybe Brady loved the game way too much or did not know how to spend his free time because he came back just six weeks later. Brady said that he still had some “unfinished business,” as for the reason he returned. He played just one more season before he announced his 2nd retirement from the NFL on February 1st, 2023. Only this time, he has retired for good.

Brady won six Super Bowls playing for the Patriots and won one more with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even to this day, there is still a lot of speculation on if Brady will come out of the retirement, yet again. There are also multiple reports that Brady himself is not opposed to the idea of coming back and playing again.

What is Tom Brady doing after his retirement?

Brady’s love for the game is unquestionable and even after retiring he hasn’t completely walked away from the game. He still covers the NFL as a commentator on FOX sports network and is also a partial owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Las Vegas Raiders hired Pete Carroll as their head coach and part of the reason why, was Tom Brady. Since he’s involved with the Raiders, as a minority owner, it is reported that he pushed for the Raiders to hire Carroll as their head coach.

Brady is still the undisputed G.O.A.T of the NFL unlike other sports leagues across the United States. Even if he decides to come back the fans, most certainly, will be delighted to see Brady play again.
