Shaquille O’Neal drops massive Stephen Curry message, includes Warriors star in “GOAT Conversation”

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry gets massive appreciation from NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal. The current TNT analyst shared his thoughts after the Warriors’ 114-102 win against the New York Knicks.

Steph Curry scored 28 points, seven rebounds and nine assists in Golden State’s second-half comeback. He was listed as questionable to play with an ankle injury, but he almost got a triple-double in the game. Shaquille O’Neal made a bold statement regarding Curry.

“I played with LeBron (James), with Kobe (Bryant), against MJ (Michael Jordan). Start putting Stephen Curry in the G.O.A.T. conversation,” Shaq said.

Stephen Curry was also part of Shaquille O’Neal’s All-Star team, who won the 2025 All-Star Game at Chase Center. He won the 2025 All-Star MVP honor for the second time. O’Neal put him in the elite club of Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

Curry has set an example in the NBA 2024-25 season. One week before, the veteran star dropped season-high 56 points against the Magic and silenced all the critics.

Stephen Curry is a four-time NBA champion, 11-time All-Star, 10-time All-NBA selection and two-time MVP winner. The 36-year-old has been regarded as the greatest shooter of all time

The Warriors have improved in the second half of the season. They are 9-1 when Jimmy Butler plays in the lineup, and Steve Kerr’s side are favorites to clinch playoff qualification.
