Bronny James made a return to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday against the New Orleans Pelicans. The matchup became special for Bronny as his father reached a historic milestone of 50,000 career points. It was Bronny’s first matchup in the NBA since Feb. 12.

The 55th pick in the 2024 NBA draft was on the minute restriction and JJ Redick offered him an opportunity in the final quarter when the Lakers already held a strong lead.

Los Angeles Lakers comfortably beat the Pelicans 136-115. LeBron James scored 34 points, eight rebounds, six assists and two blocks during his milestone night. Luka Doncic finished with 30 points, 15 assists and eight rebounds.

The Lakers rookie recently played for the South Bay in a G League defeat against the Lake City Stars. He finished with 16 points, six rebounds, eight assists and one steal while shooting 6/19 from the field and 4/14 from the three-point range.
