The Dallas Mavericks suffered another injury setback during their home loss against the Sacramento Kings. Mavs star player, Kyrie Irving was forced to leave the game after a knee sprain early in the game.

During the first quarter of the game against the Kings, Irving landed awkwardly on his left knee. He was given a medical treatment immediately after felling on the ground. Meanwhile, he completed his two free throws before being helped off court.

Kyrie was helped to the locker room after an apparent leg injury.

He stayed in the game and drained two FTs before leaving the court.

Irving was struggling to walk and was hardly putting any weight on his left leg. Before leaving the game, he finished with 7 points in 10 minutes. His absence hurt the Mavs as they faced second straight defeat in a three-game homestand.

According to Shams Charania, Irving has been ruled out of the rest of the season with a torn ACL.
