The Dallas Mavericks suffered another injury setback during their home loss against the Sacramento Kings. Mavs star player, Kyrie Irving was forced to leave the game after a knee sprain early in the game.

Irving was struggling to walk and was hardly putting any weight on his left leg. Before leaving the game, he finished with 7 points in 10 minutes. His absence hurt the Mavs as they faced second straight defeat in a three-game homestand.

According to Shams Charania, Irving has been ruled out of the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

Dallas Mavericks are chasing the playoffs and they are 10th in the Western Conference. Irving wants to finish the regular season in sixth place or higher. His injury will put extra pressure on Mavs in pursuit of NBA Play-In Tournament.
