Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball is a player to watch on the trade market this summer, reports Mike Scotto. As the offseason approaches, speculation is mounting around the 23-year-old guard, who is on a five-year contract with the Hornets.

As per the report of HoopsHype, the top franchises are targeting LaMelo Ball and he is the frontrunner to get the best deal in offseason. LaMelo Ball is riding on a $203.9 million contract with the Hornets. He was one of the several notable All-Star snubs and was fourth in scoring when the All-Star reserves were announced.

LaMelo Ball is likely to leave the Hornets amid Charlotte’s looming roster rebuild. Houston Rockets hold better chances of acquiring the guard, as per BGM. However, Magic and the Warriors have the strong odds of pushing this trade.
