Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scripts another record!

Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander made history on Wednesday by reaching the 10,000 career-point mark with the franchise. With this, he surpassed Kevin Durant to become the fastest to achieve the milestone for the Thunder. Shai reached the mark as the Western Conference leaders took down the reigning champions, Boston Celtics, 118-112 at the TD Garden.

Gilgeous-Alexander, who is currently leading the MVP race, reached the 10,000 career-point mark with the OKC in just 368 games, surpassing Kevin Durant, who achieved the milestone in 381 games.

With the win against Celtics, the Thunder secured its 12th playoff appearance, the second-most in NBA history. Shai finished with 34 points, 5 rebounds, and seven assists.

Notably, this was his fifth straight game with 30+ points and over five assists against the Celtics, tying him for the longest such streak in NBA history. The 26-year-old, who recently joined the elite company of Michael Jordan with his 40 point performance against the Nuggets, is averaging 32.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game this season.
