Sarah Strong is a freshman forward for the UConn Huskies who has quickly made her mark in the 2024-25 season. Standing at 6-foot-2, she brings a mix of size, skill, and versatility to the court, helping the 2nd-seeded Huskies reach the finals. Strong was born in Madrid, Spain and she was ranked as the number one recruit in the 2024 class by ESPN.

Coming into the 2024-25 season, Strong averaged 16.2 points, 1.6 blocks, 2.3 steals, 3.5 assists, 8.7 rebounds, and shot a staggering 58.4 percent from the field, while shooting 38.3 percent from deep. She played and started in 39 games and went on to win 2024-25 All Big East award, Big East All-Freshman honors, and was also named AP All-American for her performance. She is one of the best two-way players we’ve seen who can hit shots from inside or out, and can also defend at a high level. She is the third freshman in UConn’s history with 20+ points in a Final Four game.
