Saquon Barkley: A Supreme talent and an amazing person!

Saquon Barkley had one of his best seasons playing for the Philadelphia Eagles as he helped them win the Super Bowl. Eagles QB Jalen Hurts said, Barkley was the “missing piece,” for the Eagles and that is a very accurate statement. His rushing game is unlike any other and his presence alone, opens up passing lanes for the receivers, which added a new dimension to their offense. Barkley is one of only nine players in the history of the NFL to finish with 2000 plus rushing yards in a season, which he achieved playing for the Eagles.

Barkley played for the New York Giants for 6 years, prior to the Eagles. He was one of the few bright spots for the Giants during his time there and even then, they let him walk to Philadelphia. Only if the Giants chose to keep Barkley instead of Daniel Jones, Eagles might not have won the Super Bowl. Yet, here we are and the decision to let Saquon walk will hunt New York for the years to come.

Barkley is one of the best players from across the league and is also one of the most kind hearted individuals. After winning the Super Bowl, the Eagles carried on the tradition of Super Bowl victory parade in Philadelphia. During the parade, Barkley did something that caught the eyes of every fan around. He saw their sign, picked Lucy up, and took photos for about 20 seconds.

Barkley celebrated along with the Eagles’ ball boy

During the parade, Barkley shook hands with what he initially thought was a fan. However, Barkley immediately noticed that he was the Eagles’ ball boy. As soon as Barkley noticed the ball boy, he immediately picked him up from the rest of the crowd then had him join the parade with the rest of the team.

Barkley knows that it took each and every one from the organization to win the Super Bowl. Every member of the Eagles contributed to the franchise’s success and whether it’s the ball boy, equipment manager, towel boy, coaches, front office, players, everybody played their roles. This just shows that Saquon Barkley is a class personified individual and an amazing human being. Even if you’re not an Eagles fan, it is hard not to like Barkley for who he is.
