Two women were shot during the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl parade and the shooting problem in America continues to rise. Police say that currently no arrests, weapons, or crime scene has been located yet. It is still on ongoing investigation.

Similarly, last year, a person was shot and killed in a mass shooting during the Kansas City Chiefs’ parade after winning the Super Bowl. A mother of two children was killed, 21 people were injured which included at least eight children.

It is a shame to watch some people try to take away others’ lives for very insignificant causes. This time the cause was just because a man and his girlfriend tried to cut the line to get to porta-potties. More details down below.

What happened during the Parade?

According to Police, approximately around 2:35 p.m., the double shooting happened near the 2300 block of Ben Franklin Parkway, outside the parade footprint. Two women were shot which included a 27-year-old woman who was shot in her left leg and a woman of age 20, who was shot in her upper left thigh.

According to Philadelphia Police Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore, the 27-year-old woman and her boyfriend tried to cut through the crowd to the Porta-Potties. The boyfriend was apparently punched in the face and a fight broke out between him and a group of men. During the fight, somebody fired their gun which struck two victims.

Are the Victims safe?

Both the victims, who were shot, were taken to Presbyterian hospital by medics and are currently listed in stable condition.

The case is still an ongoing investigation and no leads have been found so far. If anyone has further information about the incident, they can immediately contact Philadelphia Police Department to help the officers solve the case.

I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
