Real Madrid Players To Receive Massive Bonus if They Win FIFA Club World Cup

According to latest reports, Real Madrid players now have another huge incentive to lift the FIFA Club World Cup trophy this summer.

Real Madrid continue to march through the newly expanded FIFA Club World Cup in the United States. After ending a disappointing season under Carlo Ancelotti, the Spanish giants now have an opportunity to clinch the FIFA Club World Cup under Xabi Alonso. Real Madrid failed to win the Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey this past season, leaving the club without silverware across the three major competitions.

Fresh off a 1-0 last-16 win over Juventus in the Round of 16 courtesy of Gonzalo García’s goal, Los Blancos are set to face Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals this Saturday. It will also be rematch of the 2024 Champions League final, where Real emerged victorious.

Behind the scenes, Real Madrid’s board has now made a decisive move to keep the spirits high in the dressing room. According to latest reports, Real Madrid players now have another huge incentive to lift the FIFA Club World Cup trophy this summer. Notably, the club has promised each member of Xabi Alonso’s first-team squad a €1 million personal bonus if they win the tournament on July 13 at MetLife Stadium, New Jersey.

According to reports from Diario AS, this is the largest individual bonus Real Madrid has ever offered for a short-format tournament. The Los Blancos dressing room has reportedly welcomed the news. The prize money has motivated Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr. and Jude Bellingham as they continue their pursuit of silverware.

Earlier in the season, Real Madrid players received a special reward from Florentino Perez after their Champions League 4-2 penalty shootout win over Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid could earn a total of €111.6 million if they win the FIFA Club World Cup, including participation earnings, progression bonuses, and additional rights. Having already secured €55.16 million by reaching the quarter-finals, the club could add another €57 million if they beat Dortmund, reach the final, and claim the title.
