Premier League giants Chelsea enter the clash as firm favourites to lift the trophy and complete their historic UEFA set.
Chelsea are just one win away from making history. The Blues have the chance to become the first club to win all four major UEFA competitions when they face Real Betis in the UEFA Europa Conference League final in Wroclaw on Wednesday night. Under Enzo Maresca, Chelsea have enjoyed a resurgent run in Europe, dominating Djurgardens IF in the semi-finals.
Chelsea have stormed into the final with seven wins from their last eight in all competitions. They’ve looked confident and sharp in recent weeks, which also helped them to finish in the top-four in Premier League table.
On the other hand, Real Betis head into the final after edging past Fiorentina in a tense semi-final. Their form in La Liga has been patchy as they are winless in five matches. However, the Spanish side has proven itself in tight knockout games. With Chelsea’s superior squad depth and recent momentum, the English side enters the clash as firm favourites to lift the trophy and complete their historic UEFA set.

Real Betis will be without several key players for this match. Hector Bellerin suffered a hamstring injury during the semi-final second leg against Fiorentina and has been ruled out for the remainder of the season. He joins Marc Roca (foot), Diego Llorente (hamstring), and Chimy Avila (hamstring) on the sidelines.

There are also doubts over Giovani Lo Celso, who sat out Saturday’s training session due to muscular discomfort. His availability remains uncertain, but the midfield may still be reinforced by Johnny Cardoso and Youssouf Sabaly. Both have returned from minor knocks and are expected to be fit for Wednesday’s final.
Up front, veteran striker Cedric Bakambu is expected to lead the attack. The 34-year-old has been in fine form, scoring seven goals in the tournament. Antony will also be one to watch as he has contributed nine goals and five assists across La Liga and and the UEFA Conference League.

Chelsea are set to welcome back striker Nicolas Jackson for the Europa Conference League final. His return from suspension will be a major boost for manager Enzo Maresca, especially with Christopher Nkunku still being monitored after missing the weekend win at Nottingham Forest.
Elsewhere, Aaron Anselmino, Wesley Fofana, and Omari Kellyman remain sidelined due to hamstring injuries, while Mykhaylo Mudryk will also miss out through suspension. Despite returning to full fitness, midfielder Romeo Lavia is ineligible to play in the competition. The likes of Benoit Badiashile, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Malo Gusto and Trevoh Chalobah are all in contention for starting spots as Chelsea aim to cap their European campaign with silverware.
