The Raiders vs Cowboys was the final game of Week 11 of the 2025-26 NFL season on Monday Night Football (MNF). Both teams came into the prime-time game struggling for momentum.

The Raiders, playing at home, held a 2-7 record, languishing at the bottom of the AFC West, whereas the Cowboys were 3-5-1, needing a win on the road to keep their chances of making the postseason alive this season.

It was clear from the start of the game that Dallas was the better-prepared team on the night. Coming off their bye week, the Cowboys looked fresh and ready to go as they handed the Raiders a 33-16 drubbing.

Dak Prescott Clean Game Rips Apart the Raiders’ Secondary

Prescott came into the MNF game on the back of two losses in which he had 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions. Tonight, however, a completely different player took the field as the 3-time Pro Bowler connected with his targets at will.

Prescott led the Cowboys to a 24-9 lead at the half, making key throws mainly to CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, but finished the game with 4 touchdown passes to 4 different receivers. Connecting on 25 of his 33 passes, Prescott’s final stat line read 268 passing yards, 4 touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Dominant Defensive Display by the Cowboys

Monday Night Football between the Raiders and the Cowboys got underway with a couple of excellent defensive displays by either team on the opening drives. However, as the game progressed, Dallas’ defense was able to impose itself over the Raiders’ offense.

The addition of Quinnen Williams before the trade deadline was much-needed, with the former Jets player making his presence known. Williams had 1.5 of the Cowboys’ 4 sacks on the night and was a key player in ensuring the Raiders could not run the ball willingly.

CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens’ Explosive First Half

For reasons best known to head coach Brian Schottenheimer, the dual-threat receiving pair of CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens did not step onto the field for the Cowboys’ opening drive, in which they went 3 and out.

However, the pair entered the game on the team’s second drive and took over the game with Prescott targeting Pickens consistently as Lamb warranted more coverage as a deep threat option.

By halftime, the duo had already stamped their mark on the game. Pickens had 6 receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown, while Lamb had 3 catches for 55 yards and a touchdown. Dallas’ offense slowed down in the second half, with just one drive resulting in a touchdown to start the third quarter, but even then, the pair finished the game with 15 receptions for 210 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Raiders Continue to Struggle with Their Run Game

The Raiders couldn’t get much done on both sides of the ball. While the defense allowed Prescott and the Cowboys to score willingly through the first three quarters, the offense sputtered with just 3 field goals before finding the end zone for the first time in the fourth quarter.

Vegas was once again forced to go one-dimensional due to its non-existent run game. Rookie running back Ashton Jeanty had just 6 carries that went all but 7 yards. Whenever Jeanty touched the ball in the backfield, he was immediately met with the Cowboys’ defenders, stopping him from gaining over a couple of yards at the most.

Overall, the Raiders ran just 12 plays on the ground, of which 4 of them came as scrambles from quarterback Geno Smith. This has been the story of the season for Vegas, and one they need to address in the offseason.

The Raiders vs Cowboys MNF game ended as a blowout win in favor of Dallas. Apart from big games from Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and George Pickens, running back Javonte Williams carried the ball 22 times for 93 yards.

For the Raiders, Geno Smith finished the game with 238 yards, completing 27 of 42 pass attempts, for 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Brock Bowers ended the game as their leading receiver with 7 catches for 72 yards.

The win ensures that Dallas retains a chance at making the postseason, even though it is a slim one as of now.
