When Clark completed her, 2024 rookie year, she set the all-time marks with 769 points and 337 assists. Paige Bueckers finished at No. 3 in both categories, recording 692 points and 194 assists in her first season.

While Clark’s numbers remain unmatched in league history, Bueckers’ rookie achievements reinforce her place among the best first-year players ever.

Despite Dallas finishing tied for the worst record in the league at 10-34, Bueckers’ statistical output exceeded expectations and established her as the presumed frontrunner for WNBA Rookie of the Year.
