WNBA Results: Chicago Sky 86-91 New York Liberty

The Chicago Sky ended their season with another defeat, with Angel Reese absent. However, they gave a tough fight to the New York Liberty on Thursday. Despite a poor first quarter, the Sky made a strong comeback.

However, the Liberty registered a 91-86 win, with Breanna Stewart contributing 24 points. For the Chicago Sky, Maddy Westbeld scored 25 points.

The Minnesota Lynx delivered a big performance to close out the season. The Valkyries continued their struggles against big sides. With a 53-72 loss, the Golden State will return to Target Center on the weekend for the first round contest.

Shockingly, no Valkyries’ player crossed double-digit points. If this is the level of performance, then a wipe out between the Lynx and Valkyries cannot be ruled out. Natisha Hiedman scored 21 points for the league leaders.
