Norway’s Road to World Cup 2026: Full Fixture List, Squad Updates & Key Matches.
Norway’s national football team is set for two pivotal matches in June 2025 as they will continue their campaign in the FIFA World Cup European qualifiers. They have had a strong start to their qualifying journey. Even so, their fixtures in June against Italy and Estonia are crucial for maintaining momentum.
The team first faced Italy on June 6 at Oslo’s Ullevaal Stadion. This will be followed by an away match against Estonia at Tallinn’s Lillekula Stadium. They have already defeated Italy by a 3-0 margin in their first match. They will also aim for another big margin win to secure a spot in the World Cup 2026.

Landslaget are currently leading Group I in the UEFA World Cup qualifiers. They have secured three consecutive wins so far: a 5-0 win over Moldova, a 4-2 triumph against Israel, and a recent 3-0 win over Italy. These results have comfortably placed them at the top of the group with nine points and a goal difference of +10.
With upcoming matches against Estonia and Moldova this year, Norway has a significant opportunity to strengthen their position. A win against Estonia would further solidify their lead. With the top team in the group qualifying directly and the runner-up entering the play-offs, another win would bring Norway closer to qualifying for their first World Cup since 1998.
