Liv Morgan’s injury came as a shock to the entire WWE Universe, Judgment Day, and more so to Dominic Mysterio. An injury that will not only keep Liv out of WWE for the remainder of the year but also somehow injure Dominic Mysterio so much so that he can’t defend his title against AJ Styles at Night of Champions.

Yes, Dominic Mysterio was all set to defend his WWE Intercontinental title against AJ Styles, but an injury that is yet to be disclosed by WWE forced him to bail out of the match on Monday. Raw GM Adam Pearce broke this news to AJ Styles, who told him it’s fake. Adam Pearce tried to convince him that his injury seemed real, but AJ Styles told him that medical documents can be forged.

Their match got canceled, which left a void at Night of Champions, and that void was filled with a Street Fight match between Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez.

Rhea Ripley was on her way to win the Queen of the Ring qualification match, but Raquel Rodriguez pulled her out, and since fatal four-way matches are generally no disqualification matches, nobody could do anything about it. This gave Roxanne Perez the opportunity to win and qualify for the Queen of the Ring Semifinals.

Rhea Ripley retaliated, but not right away; instead, she waited for the right opportunity. She pulled Raquel out of the ring when she was about to win the fatal four-way and qualify for the Queen of the Ring Semifinals. She delivered a Riptide to Raquel outside the ring and then threw her inside the ring for Asuka to pin her and win the match.

Raquel Rodriguez called out Rhea Ripley on Monday Night Raw, and she came out. Both of them had a brawl, and Rhea Ripley would have sent Raquel through the table, but Roxanne intervened and saved Raquel. Raquel then delivered a Tejana Bomb to send Rhea Ripley through the table instead. Rhea Ripley later asked Adam Pearce for a Street Fight match against Raquel Rodriguez and was granted the same at Night of Champions
