Three games will be held today, making it the NFL Saturday Triple Header with all games having some serious playoff implications!
As we approach the end of the 2024 NFL regular season, there is a lot at stake for the teams who are contending for a playoff spot. We have already had the NFL Christmas games as well as the Week 17 Thursday Night Football game.
But for the first time this season, not one, not two but three games will be held today, making it the NFL Saturday Triple Header. All of these games will come with some serious playoff implications and we just cannot wait to get things started!
The festive season got much better with games distributed throughout the week. So, what NFL teams feature in today’s games. Here are all the essential details for the NFL games today.
NFL Saturday Triple-Header for Week 17 will showcase 3 games with 6 teams in action. The 3 NFL games today will be as follows:
Jim Harbaugh and his boys will start the proceedings for the NFL Saturday triple header as they take on the New England Patriots (3-12) at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. The Los Angeles Chargers (9-6) are coming off a win over their division rivals, the Denver Broncos.

A win here tonight for Justin Herbert and co. will all but confirm their playoff berth. But if they lose the game, things could get really interesting, especially if the Bengals beat the Denver Broncos. HC Jim Harbaugh would be relieved with the fact that they play their next game against the LV Raiders. But if the 2024 season is any indication, they will try and seize their post in the postseason today itself.
Here is the complete injury report for the Week 17 Chargers vs. Patriots game today.
Meanwhile, there is not much for the New England Patriots to achieve. They are on a 5-game losing streak, despite playing a couple of close games against the Buffalo Bills and the Indianapolis Colts in the last few weeks.
The second game for the day, the contest between the Cincinnati Bengals (7-8) and the Denver Broncos (9-6) at the Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio will be the most important game of the day. Joe Burrow and company are on a roll with 3 wins in their last 3 games. They still hang on to their playoff hopes by a thread and a loss here would be curtains for them.
But if the Burrow and Ja’Marr chase powered Bengals manage to pull this off, things would get really interesting. The Bengals will face the Pittsburgh Steelers next.

Things are a bit different for Bo Nix and the Broncos. They lost a close game to the Chargers last week and still have a 76% chance to qualify for the postseason. A win here tonight will book their playoff berth but a loss will put them in a very tricky situation. They play the mighty Chiefs next, their AFC West rivals!
The road to the postseason for the Broncos is to win the game tonight and be done with it. They already lost 16-14 to Kansas City earlier this season and a rematch after losing to the Bengals

Matthew Stafford and the LA Rams (9-6) will take on the Arizona Cardinals (7-8) at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California for the last game of the NFL triple header Saturday. Stafford and the Rams have an offense that currently ranks 15th in total offense and 24th in total defense. The Cardinals rank higher than the Rams, in both offense (11th) and defense (20th).

But that doesn’t take away the fact that the LA Rams are still contending for a spot in the playoffs and a win tonight against the Cardinals will get them through. But if the Cardinals manage to beat them, their playoff hopes will be in jeopardy as they will have to face the Seahawks for the final game of the season.
The Seattle Seahawks will surely have their eyes on this all NFC West affair and would hope for the Rams to fumble the bag.
