This divisional clash holds significant playoff implications, as a win could secure the Lions’ spot in the 2024 NFL playoffs by the end of Week 13.

However, the Lions are coming off a seven-game losing streak in Thanksgiving games. On the other side, Caleb Williams, the rookie quarterback for the Chicago Bears, is set to play in his first Thanksgiving game.

End of Game : The Lions manage to pull it off.

Despite numerous costly penalties, the Lions ultimately secured a 23-20 victory. On the final play, Caleb Williams took too long to release the ball, even though the Bears still had a timeout available.

On a deep pass form Caleb Williams, DJ Moore turn on the jets to get himself separated from his defender to score an important touchdown for Chicago.

For the first time this season, Lions’ kicker, Jake Bates misses a field goal. His kick from the 45 yard line went wide right keeping the Bears into the game.

4th quarter : Chicago scores again !

Chicago gets back again into this game with the second touchdown of the night for Keenan Allen.

Keenan Allen set off on an outside route, completely thwarting his defender to find himself alone.
Caleb Williams has all the time in the world to find his unmarked receiver, who runs into the End Zone.
The Bears attempt an unsuccessful two-point conversion and remain 10 points behind the Lions.

This Bears team is transformed in this second half.

3rd Quarter : The Lions answer right away with a touchdown

On the following drive, Lions offense showed its strengh. With this solid ground game, Detroit got rapidly into Bears’ territory.

And for the second time of the game, Sam LaPorta is found into the End Zone by Jared Goff.

On the Drive, Jameson Williams showed his skills with a really nice hurdle on a perfectly executed trick play by the Lions.

3rd Quarter : Touchdown Chicago by Keenan Allen !

The Bears score their first touchdown of the night by Keenan Allen with a really good drive led by Caleb Williams.

After completing their first 3rd down of the game, Caleb Williams used his legs to gain another first, but almost got injured on this play.

After a short trip to the blue tent, Bears’ quarterback is back on the sideline.

Lions 16-7 Bears.

End of 1st half : The Lions have a two-possession lead

With another unsuccessful trip into the Red Zone, the Lions still have a two-possession lead against the Bears.

Chicago can thank Tyrique Stevenson who has forced a fumble with a hard hit on David Montgomery on the 6 yard line.

2nd Quarter : Lions 16-0 Bears

Another drive, another field goal made by the Lions to increase their lead to 16 points with a little more than 3 minutes to play in this first half.

2nd Quarter : Lions 13-0 Bears

Despite another trip to the Red Zone, the Lions failed to convert this opportunity in another touchdown. Jared Goff got sacked at Chicago’s 18 yards line, forcing Detroit to kick a field goal.

The Field goal was good by J.Bates, giving the Lions a 13 points lead.

This drive was 5:26 minute long with 11 plays and 56 yards.

Lions score a touchdown with Sam LaPorta

With a 3 yard pass from Jared Goff, Sam LaPorta scores the first touchdown of the game.

PAT is good, Lions 10-0 Bears. This drive was 5:33 minutes long with 10 plays and 90 yards.

Lions vs Bears : End of 1st Quarter

After one quarter, the Lions lead 3-0 against the Chicago Bears.

Chicago had only one drive during this quarter ending in a punt. Lions are positioned on Bears’ 14 yard line.

1st Quarter : Lions strike first 3-0

On their opening drive, the Lions open the scoring with a field goal after a long drive of almost 8 minutes. Jared Goff managed to get close to the end zone with a good combination of plays on the ground and in the air but failed to find his receivers into the end zone.

During this drive, Lions tried a new trick play with Penei Sewell but failed to convert on 1st down despite a good first stiff arm from Lions’ player.
