The Indiana Fever will travel to Barclays Center in New York to lock horns with the reigning champions New York Liberty in an anticipated thriller on Wednesday, July 16. This will be the third time both teams will be up against each other in the 2025 season of the WNBA. In previous games, both Liberty and Fever emerged victorious in one game each. Needless to say, they would want to win the upcoming game to assert dominance on the rivals.

The Liberty will head into the fixture on the back of a two-game winning streak. In their most recent match, they took down the Atlanta Dream with a margin of 79-72. The Fever, on the flip side, are on a three-game winning streak, and in their most-recent matchup, they defeated the Connecticut Sun with a significant margin of 85-77.

If we talk about their respective campaigns, the Liberty are the third most powerful team in the season with a win-loss tally of 14-6. They have Breanna Stewart leading the charts with an average of 19.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game. On the other hand, the Fever have Kelsey Mitchell sitting atop the scoring charts with an average of 19.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 0.9 steals per game.

Jonquel Jones has been out of action due to her right ankle injury she sustained during the game against the Phoenix Mercury on June 19.
