Ryan Kalkbrenner
Ryan Thomas Kalkbrenner was born on January 17, 2002, in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, to Kraig and Lynn Kalkbrenner. He has a brother named Nate Kalkbrenner. In August 2024, he married Rachael Saunders, who is also a former Creighton women’s basketball player. Kalkbrenner played high school basketball at Trinity Catholic in St. Louis, Missouri. He then played college basketball for the Creighton Bluejays from 2020 to 2025. He graduated from Creighton University in 2025. During his time at Creighton, he was a notable player. In the 2025 NBA draft, Ryan Kalkbrenner was selected by the Charlotte Hornets in the 2nd round as the 34th overall pick. He recently played with the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA Summer League and is currently a professional basketball player for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He plays as a center and is 2.13 meters (7 feet 0 inches) tall and weighs 116 kg (256 lb).
