Kam Jones
Kameron “Kam” Deshun Jones, born on February 25, 2002, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is an American professional basketball player. His parents are Kevin and Ericka Jones. He played high school basketball at Evangelical Christian School in Cordova, Tennessee. Jones played college basketball for the Marquette Golden Eagles from 2021 to 2025. As a freshman in the 2021-22 season, he averaged 7.4 points per game and earned Big East All-Freshman Team honors. In his sophomore year (2022-23), he averaged 15.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game, earning a spot on the Second Team All-Big East and the NABC All-District 5 Second Team. During his junior season (2023-24), Jones averaged 17.2 points, 2.4 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game, helping Marquette reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. He also received the BIG EAST Player of the Week award twice and was named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team. As a senior in the 2024-25 season, Jones averaged 19.2 points, 5.9 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game, earning Second Team All-American recognition (AP, Sporting News, NABC, USBWA) and a unanimous selection to the First Team All-BIG EAST. Kam Jones was selected by the San Antonio Spurs in the second round, 38th overall pick, of the 2025 NBA Draft. He currently plays for the Indiana Pacers in the NBA, with his career beginning in 2025. He wears number 7 for the Pacers. He is listed as a point guard, shoots left-handed, measures 1.96 m (6 feet 5 inches) and weighs 91 kg (200 pounds).
