What pick will Kam Jones be in the 2025 NBA Draft?
Kameron, or Kam Jones, is a former Marquette Golden Eagles guard who is set to enter the 2025 NBA Draft. A Memphis, Tennessee-born, Jones began his basketball journey at Evangelical Christian School. During his sophomore season, he averaged 14.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. Not only this, but he also made it to the All-District team on the back of his performance.
His performance went up to an average of 19.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game during his junior year. In addition, Jones also received the Tennessee Mr. Basketball (Division II A).
After committing to play for Marquette, the 23-year-old started in seven of his 31 games as a freshman. Following the conclusion of the season, he received the Big East All-Rookie Team honors. After becoming a full-time starter during his sophomore season, Jones averaged 15.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. He was shooting 46/36/66, which earned him a spot on the All-Big East Second Team.
After finishing his junior season with the stats of 17.2 ppg, 2.9 rpg, and 2.4 apg, Jones’ stats went up to 19.2 ppg, 4.5 rpg, and 5.9 apg in 33.8 minutes.
Kam Jones averaged 7.4 points per game in his freshman season at Marquette. In his sophomore season, he averaged 15.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per contest. His junior season stats were 17.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.
Earlier, Jones was projected to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. However, now his projections range all the way to No. 49 in the second round of the two-day NBA event.
